Basketball Recap: Dirigo Takes a Loss

Dirigo lost against Monmouth Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dirigo Cougars took a 39-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monmouth Academy Mustangs.

Dirigo's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Monmouth Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Monmouth Academy beat Dirigo by a score of 39-30 on Thursday.
