Softball Game Preview: Stone Bridge Bulldogs vs. Riverside Ram

The Stone Bridge Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Riverside Ram at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stone Bridge is looking for their season's first victory.

On Thursday, Stone Bridge came up short against Briar Woods and fell 6-1.

Meanwhile, Riverside faced Independence in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Ram walked away with a 9-5 win over Independence.

Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Stone Bridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Stone Bridge might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Riverside in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
