Recap: Soquel Knights vs. Aptos Mariners
The Soquel Knights pushed their score all the way to 71 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Aptos by a score of 73-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (64), Soquel still had to take the loss.
Isaiah Ackerman was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds for Aptos. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ackerman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Calfe, who scored eight points along with eight assists and two steals.
Soquel now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Aptos, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-7.
Soquel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aptos also has no future games currently scheduled.
