Volleyball Game Preview: Eldon Mustangs vs. Osage Indians

The Eldon Mustangs will take on the Osage Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Eldon will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Lebanon, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Yellowjackets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Osage waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blue Birds.

While Osage won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 28-26.

Eldon now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Osage, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-2.

Eldon came out on top in a nail-biter against Osage in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
