Stockton has gone 10-0 against West Carroll recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Stockton Blackhawks will venture away from home to take on the West Carroll Thunder at 7:30 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Stockton is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Pecatonica just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 48-23 to the Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Blackhawks have suffered since November 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-22, which was the final score in West Carroll's tilt against River Ridge/Scales Mound on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Thunder can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 601st, while the Wildcats are ranked 126th).

West Carroll's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Stockton, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-6.
