Forney had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Wylie Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Jackrabbits: when they faced off against the Pirates last Thursday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Forney pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Wylie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Forney has already played their next match, a 12-0 loss against Cedar Hill on the 8th. As for Wylie, they will head out to face off against Sachse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Sachse 1, Wylie 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
