Basketball Recap: Midd-West Comes Up Short

Midd-West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a blow against the Mifflin County Huskies, falling 57-29. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-5.

D'Zani Coley and Brandon Ferster certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Coley posted eight points, while Ferster earned no points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Those six assists gave Ferster a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Hollenbach, who had seven points.

Midd-West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Mifflin County, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11.

Midd-West has already played their next game, a 50-48 victory against Milton on the 13th. Mifflin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
