Volleyball Recap: Old Fort Comes Up Short

Old Fort entered their match against Calvert on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Stockaders came up short against the Senecas, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senecas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Calvert's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kate Coleman, who had nine digs.

Old Fort's defeat dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Calvert, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Old Fort will square off against rival Danbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Calvert is set to take on their familiar foe Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
