Basketball Recap: Saddle Brook Comes Up Short

Saddle Brook lost against Manchester Regional on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saddle Brook Falcons took a blow against the Manchester Regional Falcons, falling 66-28. While losing is never fun, Saddle Brook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Manchester Regional is ranked 69th).

Saddle Brook dropped their record down to 4-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Manchester Regional, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Saddle Brook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-40 loss against Elmwood Park on the 23rd. As for Manchester Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 46-35 win against Lodi on the 23rd.
