Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

Rock Hill suffered their biggest loss since September 25th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Nation Ford Falcons. The defeat continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

Hannah Anderson paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up six kills. Anderson got some help from Ella Lesslie and her ten assists. Sage Pettengill and Gracie Schneider kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Nation Ford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Rock Hill is set to take on their familiar foe Northwestern at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nation Ford will square off against rival Catawba Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
