The St. Petersburg Green Devils will face off against the Port Charlotte Pirates at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Petersburg will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

St. Petersburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over North Fort Myers.

St. Petersburg was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18, 25-16.

St. Petersburg found their leader in sophomore Maeve Overcast, who had ten digs and three aces. Overcast has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Meanwhile, Port Charlotte posted their closest victory since September 27th on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cypress Creek, sneaking past 3-2.

Port Charlotte had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-8.

St. Petersburg's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Port Charlotte, their victory bumped their record up to 12-16.
