Waterford came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Delhi Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Waterford took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 25-14.

Waterford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for Delhi, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-10.

Coming up, Waterford will take on Mesa Verde in a tournament on Saturday. As for Delhi, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Stone Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m.
