Basketball Recap: Klondike Cougars vs. Jacksboro Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Klondike challenged Jacksboro on Saturday. The Klondike Cougars took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jacksboro Tigers.
Jacksboro was led to victory by Brailyn Tullous and Hayden Walker. Tullous posted 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Walker dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. Tullous is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanah Hearn, who had four points and five rebounds.
Klondike's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Jacksboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Klondike wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-51 defeat against Wink on the 30th.
