Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ben Holt College Prep Academy walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Bear River Bruins on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their 29th in a row.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-19.

Brandon Cortes paced Ben Holt College Prep Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cortes really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 18. David Chavez and Nephi Vang kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy's victory was their 27th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 37-1. As for Bear River, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-5.

Looking ahead, Ben Holt College Prep Academy will face off against Livingston at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight. Bear River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
