Baseball Game Preview: Viewmont Vikings vs. Skyline Eagles

For the second straight game, Viewmont will face off against Skyline. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Viewmont is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Viewmont fell victim to Skyline and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

For Skyline's part, not much got past Mason Papadakis, who gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks to keep Viewmont off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Morgan, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cole Muse, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Skyline's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-16. As for Viewmont, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18.
