Basketball Recap: Soper Comes Up Short

Soper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 38-26 to the Achille Golden Eagles. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Eagles from their previous meeting back in February.

Soper's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Achille, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Soper and Moyers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on December 9. The Bears will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 66.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Achille, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mill Creek at 6:00 p.m. on December 8.
