Volleyball Recap: Spring-Ford Comes Up Short

Spring-Ford lost against Unionville back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 3-2. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spring-Ford wouldn't go down easily and took Unionville into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 24-26, 16-25, 15-9.

When it comes to explaining why Spring-Ford lost, don't look at Dawson Beccaria. Despite the final result, he had 24 digs and six assists. Beccaria has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times he's played. Peter Van Ness also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Spring-Ford now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Unionville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Spring-Ford will challenge Kennett at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Unionville has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
