Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Holly

With a playoff win on the line, Holly rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles by a score of 76-69. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Devin Eaton, who dropped a double-double with 43 points and 13 boards. Holly is 9-1 when Eaton posts ten or more rebounds, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Drayden Williams, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards.

Holly smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Holly's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Pikes Peak Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 15-7 record.

Holly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-41 defeat against Stratton on the 8th. Pikes Peak Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
