Volleyball Game Preview: Patterson Tigers vs. River Islands Riptide + How To Watch

The Patterson Tigers will face off against the River Islands Riptide at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Patterson is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Denair.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 24-26, 25-13.

Meanwhile, River Islands entered their tilt with Riverbank on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 3-0 victory.

River Islands was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-20.

Patterson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for River Islands, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Patterson beat River Islands 3-1 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Riptide turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
