Baseball Recap: Gaylesville Comes Up Short

Gaylesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-2 to the Chattooga Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 9-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Sean Poss was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases and one run.

Gaylesville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chattooga, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

While Gaylesville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
