Softball Recap: Theodore Bobcats vs. Baldwin County Tigers
Theodore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 11-3 loss at the hands of the Baldwin County Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Theodore of the 4-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
For Baldwin County's part, Brooke McGowin was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Madisyn Williams was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
Theodore's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Baldwin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
