Basketball Recap: Marquette Skates Past Gaylord with Ease

Marquette waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gaylord Blue Devils 61-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redmen also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2017.

Marquette's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Gaylord, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Marquette will square off against Petoskey at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marquette has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three games. Gaylord does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
