Basketball Game Preview: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Prairie Mustangs

Peetz hasn't had much luck against Prairie recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 10:30 a.m. without much rest, having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Prairie is headed out to face a Bulldogs squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Peetz was beaten by Lone Star 57-25 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Prairie had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 41-40 to Caliche. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Buffaloes: they've now lost three in a row.

Peetz took a serious blow against Prairie in their previous meeting back in January, falling 51-17. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bulldogs were down 33-9.
