Basketball Game Preview: Prince RVT Falcons vs. Capital Prep Trailblazers

Prince RVT is 9-1 against Capital Prep since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. Capital Prep took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Prince RVT, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Prince RVT earned a 55-44 victory over Bulkeley.

Prince RVT got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ahmad Allen out in front who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Those nine boards gave Allen a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Corey Smith, who shot 47% from the field on his way to 17 points.

Meanwhile, Capital Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Fitch 92-47 on Tuesday. The Trailblazers were down 72-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Prince RVT couldn't quite get it done against Capital Prep in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 64-55. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
