Football Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Haines City Hornets and fell 49-6. The Chargers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Haines City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 28-0 defeat against St. Cloud on the 10th. As for Haines City, they will face off against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haines City is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29.6 points per game this season.
