On Tuesday, Berthold faced Tioga in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Berthold Bombers put the hurt on the Tioga Pirates with a sharp 69-43 victory. The Bombers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Berthold, bringing their record for this year to 18-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Tioga, their loss dropped their record down to 22-4.
