Wharton has gone 6-1 against Stafford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wharton Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stafford Spartans at 6:30 p.m.

Wharton will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Thursday, then bounced right back against Bloomington on Saturday. Wharton was the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Bloomington. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, neither Stafford nor Fort Bend Bush could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 5-5 tie.

Stafford's draw gives them a new season record of 3-1-1. As for Wharton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Wharton beat Stafford 12-8 in their previous meeting back in March of 2021. Will Wharton repeat their success, or does Stafford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
