It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sonoma Valley can now relate to. They fell 34-28 to the St. Helena Saints on Friday. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Sonoma Valley still got an impressive performance from Cayden Waldrop, who rushed for 197 yards and a pair of TDs. Waldrop is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dalan Lopata, who threw for 173 yards and one touchdown.

Those 117 rushing yards gave Covarrubias a new career-high. Dean Sommer was in the mix too, providing St. Helena with two touchdowns.
