Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Portland). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Maplewood 73-45. Portland has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Portland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. Maplewood is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Tigers on Monday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Macon County sitting on six straight victories and Portland on three. Maplewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
