Baseball Recap: Thousand Oaks Victorious

Thousand Oaks saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Poly Parrots by a score of 7-3.

Luc Forkin looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Matthew Magruder, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of James Luderer, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Thousand Oaks kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since the start of last season.

Thousand Oaks' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Poly, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thousand Oaks will venture away from home to challenge St. Francis at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Poly, they will head out to take on El Camino Real at 3:00 p.m. on February 26th.
