After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastern View, Culpeper County was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chancellor Chargers a 15-0 shutout. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Culpeper County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Chancellor, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

Coincidentally, Culpeper County and Chancellor will both be playing Caroline the next time they take the field. The Chargers will head out to face the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Blue Devils will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
