Baseball Recap: Marion Warriors vs. Inman Inman Teutons
Marion lost to Inman on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Inman Teutons 11-10.

Jameson Looper made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Marion: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-6 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kadon Mercer, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.

As for Inman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sedgwick on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Inman Teutons surely won't give up without a fight.
