Seacrest Country Day was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Community School of Naples on Monday. The Seacrest Country Day Stingrays blew past the Community School of Naples Seahawks 10-0. The Stingrays haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Caroline Porter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than 13 strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Drew Spencer was a standout: she scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Dailin 'D' Delgado was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Seacrest Country Day now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Community School of Naples, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Seacrest Country Day didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 defeat against Evangelical Christian on the 4th. As for Community School of Naples, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Everglades City at 6:00 p.m.
