Game recap: Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School Football Team wins against Greenbrier Christian Academy

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Blake Larussa threw for five touchdowns as Bishop Sullivan Catholic (Virginia Beach, Va.) beat Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, Va.) 45-18 on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Larussa to Tanner Huelsmann in the first quarter, the Crusaders led 38-7 at the half.

Bishop Sullivan Catholic grew its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. BSC scored once in the quarter on a touchdown pass by Larussa to Jamil Kamara.

Larussa and Kamara teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Kamara caught three touchdowns and Larussa threw five. Kamara has now caught three touchdowns this season, while Larussa has thrown five.



Larussa stood out for the Virginia Beach school in the win. The junior quarterback threw five touchdowns.

Bishop Sullivan Catholic (8-0) will play a VISFA Tidewater game against Hampton Roads Academy next week, while Greenbrier Christian Academy (1-6) will take on Nansemond-Suffolk Academy also in a VISFA Tidewater game.
