Volleyball Recap: Valders Takes a Loss

Valders lost against Luxemburg-Casco back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Anna Olson paced Valders' offense, picking up eight kills. Olson got some help from Addison Grall and her 11 assists. Makenna Kaderabek controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Valders has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-12 record this season. As for Luxemburg-Casco, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-10.

Valders wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Pewaukee on the 18th. As for Luxemburg-Casco, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Middleton on the 18th.
