Volleyball Recap: Creative Technologies Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Fellowship Baptist Academy

Creative Technologies Academy had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Creative Technologies Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-18.

Fellowship Baptist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ameliana Ricci led the charge by getting nine aces.

Fellowship Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creative Technologies Academy will head out to square off against West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fellowship Baptist Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Sacred Heart Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
