Soccer Recap: Grand Saline Takes a Loss

Grand Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Mineola Yellowjackets. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Grand Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mineola, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Saline will venture away from home to square off against Lindale at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mineola, they will head out to take on Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
