Volleyball Recap: Attleboro Takes a Loss

If Attleboro was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of King Philip Regional last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bombardiers came up short against the Milford Scarlet Hawks on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scarlet Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-9.

Elijah Sye paced Attleboro's offense, picking up four kills. Sye got some help from Dairy Morataya and his nine assists.

Attleboro moved to 3-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Milford, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Looking ahead, Attleboro will be playing at home against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bombardiers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Milford, they will venture away from home to square off against Newton North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
