Volleyball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends Kennedy's Winning Streak + How To Watch

After flying high against DSST: Cedar on Thursday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Commanders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alameda Pirates on Monday. The Commanders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Kennedy actually scored more points across those four sets (91-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 11-25, 26-24.

Kennedy moved to 11-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Alameda, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Kennedy will take on Denver North in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Alameda, they will venture away from home to take on Englewood at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
