The matchup between Parkland and T.W. Andrews on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Mustangs blew past the Red Raiders 18-1. Considering the Mustangs have won eight contests by more than 11 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Parkland has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games. As for T.W. Andrews, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Parkland will take on North Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for T.W. Andrews, they will face off against High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bison have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.83 runs per game on average), something the Red Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
