Gainesville strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Rabun County Wildcats by a score of 53-44.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trace Adcock, who went 6-for-12 en route to 19 points. Adcock has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 50% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Reed Burrell, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Rabun County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Gainesville is taking a road trip to challenge Roswell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rabun County, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Towns County at 7:30 p.m. The Wildcats will be up against the Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
