Basketball Recap: Welch Wildcats vs. Ketchum Warriors
The Welch Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 82-43 loss at the hands of Ketchum. Welch has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Welch lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Deighton Bellew, who scored ten points. Dakota Bidwell was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
Welch has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Ketchum, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3.
Welch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ketchum will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Colcord has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 200 points over their last three matches.
