Soccer Recap: Sarasota Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sarasota's offense. They fell 2-0 to the Braden River Pirates on Thursday.

Sarasota's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Braden River, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1.

Sarasota will face off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lakewood Ranch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season. As for Braden River, they will square off against Manatee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
