Lakeview was the 14-4 winner over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lakers lost 18-8 to the Fighting Saints on Tuesday. The Lakers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lakeview now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Lakeview will head out on the road to face off against Yellow Medicine East at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
