Volleyball Recap: Hannibal Beats Fort Zumwalt South for Their Third Straight Victory

Hannibal strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Hannibal found their leader in freshman Tessa Janes, who had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Janes.

Hannibal's win bumped their record up to 10-0-1. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season.

Hannibal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pattonville on the 20th. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they will venture away from home to challenge Fort Zumwalt East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
