Football Recap: Ambassador Christian School Starts Season with Win on the Road

Ambassador Christian School had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Christ School Greenies by a score of 28-16 on Friday.

Ambassador Christian School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Weston Michalak led the charge by throwing for 270 yards and three TDs. Travis Barton Jr. was Michalak's top target, picking up 95 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ambassador Christian School will venture away from home to square off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christ School, they will head out to face off against Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
