Football Recap: Ambassador Christian School Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Ambassador Christian School had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 28-16 victory over the Christ School Greenies.

Ambassador Christian School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Weston Michalak, who threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Travis Barton Jr. was Michalak's top target, picking up 95 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ambassador Christian School will venture away from home to take on North Raleigh Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christ School, they will head out to square off against Providence Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
