Declo has gone 8-2 against Wendell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Declo Hornets will jump right back in to play the Wendell Trojans at 1:40 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Declo comes in on five and Wendell on six.

Declo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 52-51 victory over The Ambrose School. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Archers are ranked 44th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wendell earned a 57-47 win over Firth on Friday.

Declo better focus on containing Jonathan Swainston and Jordon Swainston as the pair were huge in Wendell's win. Jonathan went 8-for-17 en route to 24 points and three steals, while Jordon shot 50% from the field to rack up 23 points. Jonathan's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Jasper, who posted two points along with five rebounds and three blocks.

Declo's record now sits at 25-1. As for Wendell, their record is now 19-6.

Declo didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Wendell when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Swainston, who went 8-for-15 on his way to 22 points.
