Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holbrook). They blew past the Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors 63-25 on Wednesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 25-5.

Ashya Dingle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 25 points and nine steals. She has become a key player for Holbrook: the team is 12-4 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Makayla Hopkins, who posted eight points in addition to 15 rebounds and four steals.

Holbrook is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points on average over those games. Mohawk Trail Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Holbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-24 loss against Douglas on the 28th. Mohawk Trail Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
