Basketball Game Preview: Mansfield Tigers vs. Allen Eagles

The Mansfield Tigers will be taking part in a tournament against the Allen Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Friday, Mansfield lost to Boswell on the road by a 58-39 margin. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Pioneers are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Allen suffered their biggest loss since November 14th on Friday. They came up short against Prosper, falling 71-49.

Mansfield dropped their record down to 8-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Allen, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
